Senior Paralegal Taylor Brayton approaches every client with the understanding that the Barbieri Law Firm may be the one place they feel supported during a difficult moment. She recognizes how vulnerable the criminal justice process can feel, and she works intentionally to create a space where clients feel safe, informed, and empowered to ask questions.

“It’s in my blood to help people,” Taylor says. “This job lets me support others when they need it most, and that means everything to me.”

While her work focuses heavily on client relations and legal support, Taylor also plays an integral role in the firm’s daily operations. In addition to case and client management, she handles office administration and office manager responsibilities — assisting with workflow organization, team support, internal communication, and the behind-the-scenes details that keep the firm running smoothly. She values efficiency, professionalism, and consistency, and she approaches both clients and team members with a calm, solutions-focused mindset.

Taylor is dedicated to making legal processes more understandable and less intimidating. She believes clients should never feel afraid to ask questions, and she takes pride in providing clarity, reassurance, and timely communication throughout the life of a case. Her ability to balance compassion with structure makes her a trusted point of contact for clients and an essential support for the attorneys she works alongside.

Since joining Barbieri Law in 2017, Taylor has continued to grow her knowledge in criminal defense procedure, client experience, and operational management. She holds an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Collin College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Justice Studies from Grand Canyon University, and a Paralegal Certificate from the University of North Texas.

Outside the office, Taylor enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and her cat, Jellybean, and enjoys watching sports, especially football, Go Cowboys!
